My T25 1.6td jx failed mot on exhaust manifold gaskets !! I have a mechanic/mate doing it for me and i am getting parts but i am struggling to find the gasket that goes between the turbo and manifold its not the square one ! Need to order one asap holding the job up !!!

Thanks but no joy !! Emailed BW and JK they say VW never listed the part !!!! Found one on ebay since above post but they are closed till July 31st !!!!

I am sure that there isn't one there - that's why you can't find one.
Someone will be along to confirm I should think.

Put same question on FB and getting there was never one listed !! But one came off so if there was one there then it should be replaced !! So what my mechanic is doing is putting some High temp sealent on and tightning it right up !!! Majority on FB say this is the way to do it !! hope it works ok if any one as any other advice please post as i am personally not great with engines etc!!

just a quick update got everything sorted and back on the road !! Must say she drives a lot better with new gaskets etc tad more power and a hell of a lot quieter !!

Oldie is right,the turbo to manifold joint is metal to metal.

Mine has (or had) a very thin spring metal gasket and when I bought new studs for the manifold to turbo they came with a pair of gaskets.
