Leak between inner CV joint and gearbox

I seem to have a slight gearbox oil leak coming from between the inner CV joint and the gear box. Thought it was just the seal but Brickwerks tell me the 2WD van didn’t have a seal only the Syncro.

Checked the gearbox oil and it isn’t low at all so it either can’t be losing a lot or it’s not coming from there.

Does anyone have any thoughts, suggestions or help please? Cheers.

I'm pretty sure the gearbox does have output shaft/diff seals.

I replaced both sides on my auto using BW parts although mine where auto specific.

these are the seals for the manuals https://www.brickwerks.co.uk/t3-parts/d ... al-t3.html

unless you mean it's leaking from the joint between the frive flange and the inner cv joint ????

Regards
Rick

I have the same on mine only a few years after a rebuild, I assume the flanges are grooved so a new seal may not solve the problem forever.

You can fit a sleeve
