Clicking noise when in gear and release clutch

Hi.
1600 Aircooled T25. CT engine.
When I put the van in gear, and release Clutch I get a loud click from the rear of the van. Not sure where its from, but guessing it must be from gearbox, clutch, or maybe the gear selector mechanism?
It only clicks once as the van pulls away. It seems to happen more in reverse.
Any idea's what it might be, where to start looking?
