Doing a jx to agg conversion, found this, is it worth repairing this? Find a replacement vw box or look at an alternative? Thanks in advance.

that will be very expensive to fix properly, chances are the shaft is damaged as well as the end case and bearings and the cause of the wear points to long term wear issues generally, I'd look for another box, even a core to rebuild
