hi all need help with van had been out and on way back home straight road van like dies so pressed throttle down? run "pooh" but played with throttle made it home
since then ive changed petrol filter cleaned carb ,spark plug and leads. dis cap and arm oil cause mot coming up the van starts and run like before so go for a drive and all is well couple of days later starts good come back home dies at cross roads 3x times running "pooh" back home will not tick over unless you rev and hold it ?
any ideas thanks

Idle cut off valve sticking ?

thanks have now read a little difference between them

played with van today right fine when cold runs on tick over 10 mins goes for drive 3/4 mile starts to play up again
throttle goes dead so put foot down run ok throttle slowly off gas plays up so its it carb or vacuum back home will not tick over until more gas sprayed all in wd40 no joy

air leak?

put 2x vacuum pipes on and bypassed the choke with copper pipe in hoses and the van run like old times will try again tomorrow if ok will book in for mot then sort it
