CS 1600 Diesel. Major oil leak

Sat scratching my head!
Got a 1600 Diesel (CS engine)
It's got a major oil leak, and drop in pressure (Oil light flashing on dash, and lots of oil being thrown around front/pulley end of the engine, and spewing on to the ground)
Removed timing belt cover, and it's not coming from inside there, as it's totally dry.
Bottom crank pulley seal is bone dry.
Breather is not blocked, and I don't think it's coming from the rocker cover, as that seems pretty dry too.
Not coming from the sump gasket (I don't think)
Really scratching my head as to where the oil is coming from?
The engine itself starts/runs/sounds quite nice (well as nice as one of these old oil burners do) Not overly smoking or anything.
Anyone experienced something similar?
Any help or advice would be appreciated.

There's an oilway plug in the end of the cylinder head. Mine always leaked a bit, but never fell out.
I would have said a rust hole in the oil filler tube, but that wouldn't result in a drop in oil pressure.
The intermediate shaft has an oil seal, but that wouldn't drop the oil pressure either.
Oil pressure switches have been known to blow, then the oil runs along the sump line and off the back of the engine.
Other than that, you'll have to clean it up, then start the engine and keep looking.

Is the dip stick tube still seated in the block? It is only a push fit with an 'O' ring to seal it, mine used to leak there but not lots and lots.

Thanks for the replies chaps.
I'll clean it all off, and run it up to temp tomorrow to see if I can source the leak.
I'll keep you posted
Got to love T25's! :-)
