I have a 1.9tdi 1z in the back of my van. Is there an "off the shelve" exhaust set up for it, or some bits n pieces you can string together? Or does it need a custom fabricated job ?

When I fitted an AFN into my pickup, using the Passat exhaust manfold and turbo, I was able to use a standard 'JX' exhaust system by fabricating a connecting pipe from the turbo to the JX j-pipe. Possibly something similar could be done with a 1Z manifold/turbo setup.



OTOH if you have deep pockets, you could use a JX exhaust manifold, and pop for one of Brickwerks custom turbos which are 1Z spec, but in a JX body, and use a stock JX exhaust system.

Im pretty sure Tim at Ultimate engineering can supply adaptor plates for whatever turbo you are using to the standard exhaust as long as you are using the standard jx manifold.
If you are not it is bespoke Im afraid as Andy has pointed out.
