AAZ cambelt..

The cambelt on my van was new when I replaced the rubbish JX with a 165000 mile AAZ 9+ years
ago so thought I best change it..the belt coming off was a Gates one from vw...it was quite loose and I'm not a massive fan of gates products, got a Dayco kit for £32 and fitted it ..set timing at 1.0 mm but might tweak it when belt has settled in..so there you go. if your on on self adjusting tensioner check your belt tension occasionally as mine was flapping a bit, some contact with the cover noticed, see how the Dayco fares.
