Unknown Part - Gear linkage - What is it called?

Have been told by the garage I need to buy a new part that links the front rod of the gear linkage to the rear rod at the gearbox end but have no idea what the part is called.
Can anyone help?

It's off a 1983 Diesel (4 gears) T25

Shift bracket, part number 251711219 available from the usual places Just Kampers etc.

Is That the early Shifter

i do notice that Birckwerks now stock the early shifter which has been unavailable for some time

Yes.
Brickwerks listed them but were out of stock when I checked last week.
