Need some help, I know Aidan is busy, to the point he posted on his site on the 16th April!! However I have been gearbox less for nearly 3 months, the garage that sent Aidan the gearbox is unable to get hold of him, he did give a very detailed report of what needs doing with my box, and I’m sure he is the best in the business, but that was 2 months ago. If anyone is in contact with Aidan could he please give JKM a call and provide an update on status as I am supposed to be going on holiday in my van.. Many thanks Gaz

I'm new here, i'm french and live in Brittany, I was looking for an english forum to find some help.
I'm in the same case as Gaz70.
I sent my gearbox to Aidan Talbot in april, made a deposit of 1500£, had news from him in june (he was working on it), and since.. nothing ! Despite my many emails...
It seems some guys on this forum know him. I don't believe he is a grifter but i just don't understand this silence...
I plan to go up there to see him if a i still don't have answer in the next few days (i'm up for a road trip in south england ).
I am a patient guy, but it's getting irritating...
If anyone can help me or have an explanation ?

ive got a cheap one for sale near Portsmouth, I thought aiden had retired

I don't think he's retired, just snowed under and wanting to clear his backlog

As of Monday 16th April 2018 I am not taking on any further bookings or answering any technical enquiries. I haven’t had a holiday for over three years and have a backlog of work to complete. When I am able to take on more work then the site will be updated accordingly. Thank you

Aidan is a top bloke and a genuine expert, the only person I would (and did) actually trust in the gearbox recon field. One of the nicest, most honest people you will ever meet.
