My brother has them on his GTied Doka, he regularly drives like a loon around the IOM TT circuit and does not experience brake fade.

I've got them on mine & they're great. Very smooth but sharp when you need them to be. Bought them three years ago from Brickwerks for just over £100. Just looked now & they're nearly £150. - ouch!

I now have the discs on the van but not the pads and wondered how the black diamond pads compare to normal pads.

Fitted the pads this morning. Took the van around the block, the pedal seems like its going further down before the brakes bite. But that could be because they are not bedded in yet. Time will tell.

Well, i have been running on these for a few days.I am not disappointed. The brakes made a wooshing noise when using standard pads, not noticeable with the black diamond pads. There was also a pretty loud squeal using standard pads, not so with the new pads. So all in all, i am pretty pleased with them.

Hmmm.Down here in cornwall on our jollies,i am using my brakes a fair bit what with all these hills,at one point today dropping down to St Austell i thought i might not stop,my foot was down to the floor. Its was a tad scary.I am seriously considering going back to standard pads.

Rob - I'm quite surprised by your update. I've nothing but good things about black diamond discs and pads.
