Front door adjustment

Hello

Have tried 'lifting' the front doors on my van as the plastic air vent catches the top of the wheel arch as the door is being closed. Unfortunately there doesn't appear to be any more upwards adjustment and the door still catches. Is the only solution to die grind the holes the door bolts go through to get more upwards adjustment. Or a small spacer plate on the top hinge to pull the air vent side of the door up slightly?

Suggestions on a postcard please or am I missing something? :ok

Maybe the hinge pins are a bit worn, new pins are available.

The adjustment is more like "top in, bottom out" to get it to lift the door.
Rather than vertical adjustment at the holes..... hope that makes sense.

Hi Bob

That would only move the door horizontally. Wish they had adjustment like cupboard doors, three planes of adjustment then :-)
