Have at long last found my coolant light problem is electrical. Having renewed level sensor and temperature gauge sender . I find that if i turn the ignition on and leave for a few seconds the red light will go out on starting even when hot .Temperature gauge shows just passed the red light when running. Even if the light starts flashing if i start up to quick and forget to turn key a few seconds before starting . 30 year old original camper i can live with it.Just keep eye on coolant levels.
