Mines that old too, but has a reversing switch on the gearbox. If yours doesn't though, you can still install them yourself, simply connect them in line to you're reversing circuit as is, connect the other to ground and you're good to go. You will have to extend the wiring though more than likely. I'm doing another set soon and am planning on buying matt black sensor kit from eBay, making some brackets and bonding them to the underneath of the bumper lip to save drilling holes in it. :D

This is what I found today. Just a plug but I got it out and I was surprised to find nice clear gear oil coming out.
Now my question is which reversing sensor do i need as I have seen a few different ones online. It the original 4 speed box

In case you haven't figured it out yet... it's a 'switch' you need, not a 'sensor'
