banded wheels

Hi can anyone tell me the widest i can have wheels banded and still retain the original size tyres. Thanks Tony
When you say original tyre size I take it you mean with the same wall height? Easiest way would be to look at black circles website and go from there. Just be aware that you may not be able to open the sliding door too well if you go too far. Also the law (if I remember correctly) states thT all of the tyre must be covered with wheel arches, so unless you are a radical welder and can narrow everything internally there will be a limit of width you can go.
