What height awning is best for a high top van?

Would any of you lovely people be able to point me in the right direction for an awning? We replaced our van and bought a cheap light weight awning to use. It's perfect for a weekend as long as it's not too windy as it feels a bit flimsy.

Last weekend we looked at a fab Vango airbeam on a T4 and the owner was singing it's praises. We were wondering about getting one but didn't realise they came in different heights! (dozy I know!) Can anyone help with suggestions.

Take care

1.8-2.1m from what we have found there basically small, medium and large dependent on the height of your van eg tin top t25 or high top crafter

Ah thank you :) I want to be able to stand up inside it, I'm guessing just the connection with the van is variable?

Don't know if it helps I've only used it once! But my t25 came with a khyam quick erect awning that attaches to the gutter on the van but is higher inside I'm 6ft2 and can stand up in it no problem also very easy/quick to put up.

The tent size is the same irrespective what size you have. (I'm sure there is a joke there somewhere!!)
The high, med and low refers to the connecting section. We have the Vango Kela Low which fit perfectly

Have a Vango Idris Airbeam and it's excellent!
The height refers to the section that joins the van.
Depends on where on the van you want to attach, rain gutters, top of high top etc
Mine attaches to the lower roof part of the pop top, will have to check which model it is.

Recently survived lashing rain and wind at Camp Bestival with no problems at all :ok
