Have seen vans on foreign campsites with various bits of ply etc to keep sun off the tyres. Is this just for hot/sunny conditions, or should this apply here (uk) when parked up?
Been meaning to ask this for a while... It's now nissing down!

Having had perfectly good tyres perish quickly in the sun I too have thought about this.

I've been considering these to protect the tyres and stop my white steel wheels from yellowing in the sun....
