brickworks website states the front wheel bolts for carat atiwe alloy wheels are no longer availabile and you have to convert to stud and use tapered nuts all round but I have found these on evil bay are they the correct ones

Buy some of their front stud conversions and the correct nuts.

It can be a right pain holding the wheel up and trying to get the bolt in.Studs make it so much easier..

I know what your saying about studs but it's not a problem for me screwing in bolts my mk2 golf uses bolts and it's not a problem getting them in
So will the bolts on marlinowner link from brickwerks fit or do I need studs

The advantage of the stud conversion kit is that all the nuts match and look like the factory fitted ones. Also the studs are a bit longer than the original, the originals look scarily short with factory alloys, although they do have just enough thread.
Saying that I'm confident that the bolts I linked to would do the job.

I'm just a bit wary of the studs in case they work there way out

Fit them with loctite 270 studlock.

Have no fear, with the correct preparation there will be no issues.
A good clean of everything thing with brake cleaner and then the correct loctite and they do not come loose.

I had mine fitted for 5 years including wheel swaps every year.
