Inner Sill

Hi,
It's a bit of a after the horse has bolted question, but anyway..
Have removed inner and outer sills to replace.
Van is on stands at the front, mainly for access, but have left it on the wheels at the rear. Have only cut the inner sill to the rear crossmember/ jacking point, so all that still intact and sound..
Is this ok?
Am not a novice by any means, but always open to advice..
Was thinking as am not removing jacking point connection or inner wheel arch, will be ok..?
Any advice, even though after the fact!! Greatly received!!
