Hello and greetings from Finland! I just joined here because i have this small problem, if anyone could help me.. I bought myself my longtime dream, a camper. It is '88 Transporter, now fitted with aaz 1,9td engine. It's early years it has been in Maintz, Germany and after that... No glue. But.. No one seems to know what it is.. Factory built conversion or someones garagebuilt, i really dont know.. I hope my link to my instagram page works, there are pictures of my camper. I'll try to link more pics, if only someone regonize the model or manufacturer..

I really think so too, or if so then i admire his(?) talent.. I found pictures of "Teca" camper that has the same roof but.. No.

Roof is a factory high roof panel van roof, not an aftermarket add on. Mine came with one and had an Autohomes interior. Holdsworth used them as the base for their conversions.

Interior could've been made by anyone at any time. Looks good though

Check the gallery here as well:

If you post some pics of interior it would help.

Nice looking van though ;-)

Still possible that it is done by someone somewhere but it certainly wont look like that.. But possible.

Still, no idea anyone? I surely dont.. Best glue is that "special order" mark on id sticker but i have no idea where to ask about it. My guess is that someone has done it but used somekind aftermarket parts on it, and that someone had pretty good idea what he was doing. I guess i wont make horrible crime if i modify this camper a bit, update it a bit but honoring its originality.. Camper itself has now 54tkm on odo, engine is only update so far..

In the pics you added to your first post....the third pic.....the vent at the bottom of the 'sofa' side is chopped in half by the floor. Does that suggest that the interior did not start life in this van?
That and the fact that the entrance to the interior via the sliding door is really quite narrow.
Interior modified from a slightly bigger van?

Doesn't help with identifying it though :rofl
