I'm after some advice about Merc rims please , I have CLK lightweight alloys all ready to fit, but don't know what spacers, studs sizes to the rear & bolts to the front. I'm thinking 215/65/15 Or 215/70/15 tyres.Wheels are 15 x7 PCD 5/112 ET 37. I'm a bit confused by all the options and would appreciate a few pointers. Thanks.

16s in same width and ET clear balljoint. 15s don't so need ideally 7mm spacer. Bolt holes need drilling out to 14mm and you need R12 seat on nuts as T3 was R14. Don't need spacers on rear but obvs gives uneven track.

I have similar Mercedes wheels with the same offset.

I had them machined for 14mm bolts (they are 12mm as standard).
I used a 10mm front spacer and a 15mm rear spacer, both from JJC race and rally with a mercedes centre bore on each spacer. The front spacers I had machined to 10mm as this suited the screw in studs I used. On the rear my van already had longer studs fitted. I used M14 small radius chrome nuts on both axles.

Look great, no issues with fitment. You will need at least a 7mm front spacer to clear the stub axle/upright castings. Rear doesn't need a spacer really but looks better with it.

I used 195/65R15 front tyres and 225/60R15 rears - all Continental Sport Contact. Very comfortable and much, much better than Van rated tyres, which you dont need. You could use 205/65R15 on all four but the 195 fronts make the steering feel lighter (this might be the make of tyre more than the width).

I've just bought some 16" ET37 Merc alloys is it gospel that no spacers are required ?
