Glass cylinder fuses

Hi, The fridge fuse in the distribution board (1987 Autosleeper) kept getting hot or melting. Made sure holder was clean and there was a good contact but still it got hot.
Finally realized that today's fuses are shorter than the original, 1 1/4" down to 30mm. Not a lot but enough to make a poor connection and hence get hot. Solved problem by putting a longer spring in the fuse holder.
