Dash light alternative

May be too distracting for some but heres an idea to add some colour to the backlighting on your dash clocks:

They're 2-pin so will work (with a suitable resistor) where you might use a regular LED.
The controller chip is built in to the LED. 10mm ones are a push fit with only minor reworking.
I prefer the green ones I fitted in my clocks but will give these a go in my dash compass for a bit of fun
