this is good, and a lot of people on here use it.
http://www.eurocarparts.com/ecp/p/car-a ... &0&cc5_866

its OAT and suitable for aluminium blocks etc.

sometimes you can get a 25 litre bottle also, which saves some money.

is it in the van then???

You have just made my day , that's what I bought last year for the bus and I got 25 litres , I can use that now instead of giving it away and buying a different type :ok :ok
Cheers mate

Ah I'm sure you'll love it once all sorted. Enjoy mine hugely when I'm in it now, off to the lakes for the weekend tonight. Oil. I was told a good quality semi synthetic 10/40 for my ej20. Running great and not used a drop far as I can tell in 3 or 4 months [GRINNING FACE WITH SMILING EYES] a welcome change from my old water boxer!

I still haven't finished mine. The deadline has gone from 'end of this week' to 'end of this summer' then 'end of this month'.

Now it's 'end of this year!'

I bought the doner 14 months ago :rofl , jambo has been off the road since around April/ may ( I think ).
My excuse is having "pooh" loads of work on and having to put the hours in . Last thing I wanna do when I get home is start crawling under the van :run
I will try and have her running for crimbo.
Got some gauges to buy first :ok

I'm fitting gauges today, fingers crossed I'll be done tidying it all up by Christmas too.

Looks like we've taken the same amount of time to do the swap.

All came to a halt today , looks like I'm missing a couple of spring clips that hold the release bearing to the adaptor plate . Can't knock it as everything has been fine up to now.

Why have you got the vw wiring still in place. Better to do the loom install before engine goes in.
