Fridge igniter

my westy fridge (factory '87) grey unit with one knob ( temp) and three buttons (RM184) has stopped trying . Has always clicked away like a gooden.. But tried the other night ready for the next dat and nothing !! Any clues as to where to start ??? Thanks
