Well the Syncro is sitting on the drive very dirty and I think a flywheel end oil seal leaking! Will have to investigate further. Have got plenty of time now, was made redundant yesterday as sort of expected! give it a week or so and then start looking for a new Design engineering job. Oh well. :cry:

Glad everyone had a splashingly good time..
Let's hope no permanent harm done!
... that's it for the year I think. Left quite a few licking our wounds, but with a winter to get restored and recuperated.

Successful overnight repairs by baz to a rather wet engine.

http://youtu.be/2NoL60KomO8" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Sorry it’s not a very good video, bit wobbly especially towards the end.
If the footage is any good I will try to get something from the dash cam, but may take a while.

That was the engine oil drained out overnight. Looked like salad cream, lots of emulsification

Ah! Presumably drained again after getting home... looks like we've both been lucky with engines surviving this year

How on earth did water get in the crankcase to turn the oil into mayo?
A silencer full of water I can understand!
