Vw carat alloy centre bore/centre cap measurement?

Does anyone know the measurement of it? I need to know the size of the opening the black centre cap clips into, as I would like to try to use them on a merc alloy. I know the actual centre bore is 66mm as is the merc wheel, but the part the cap fits into is bigger ( well it is on the merc wheel). Hoping it's 74-76mm.........
