Re: Reader Rides (trial thread)
Here’s mine, she’s a 1988 Caravelle GL with a WBX 2.1 Dj auto with the original 7 seat interior. I bought her back at the beginning of the summer to be my daily to and from work, my Bay is my camper so I will be keeping her as a 7 seater.

And yes, my lad decided he was going to help me clean the van (it was a bit of a state when we got it!)

Nice Bamboo Billy. Brings back memories of my first van (2000) which was the same colour but had terrible seams. How does it run?
1980 2l CU Aircooled; left-hand drive - now officially a historic vehicle!

Hi All
this is my 1985 Caravelle GL Auto (DG)
I'm not sure about the wood either.
Bought Easter weekend
Passed MOT this morning (No advisories) lots of lost sleep since easter
out for first run 55 mile round trip to Orford Quay in Suffolk.
No problems
Regards
Rick

The wood looks good on it, a roof rack and surf boards would make it look very beach ready.

Re: Reader Rides (trial thread)
Here is our ride Bertie. We bought in may 2019 so not long ago, in between camping we have been busy updating the interior, next to sort out is the mechanics.
Update note to this post, Removed the Hitop and changed to a Pop Top, lowered the suspension by 40mm
