Al, what revs are you running at in top at 60mph with those hoops?
Trying to get some info together for a project.
Cheers

BFG Long Trails, or BFG A/T, or General Grabber AT or AT2s??
OK Help needed for the un-initiated!!! I'm not a tyre spec expert, I know what the numbers mean but I cant transpose them to work out alternatives etc etc - anyway, digressing here! Why get 15" tyres to go on 14" rims? A couple of mentions have been made of it in the this thread - am I missing something?

Re: Tyre Sizes
Well, talking for myself (and himself of course) I bought 15 inch rims and tyres. I'm not very clever, but I don't think 15 inch tyres would fit 14 inch rims?
This was for two reasons, firstly the 14 inch tyres were proper knackered and We had four slow punctures that needed to be re-inflated every other day or risk buggering the new VC. However, we did not know whether it was the tyres or the rims that were corroded. Corroded rims making a poor seal on tyres of course.
Obviously we could have replaced the lot with 14 inch stuff, but the 15's look way cooler.
Also, there is the increased ride height and ground clearance. If you want all terrain/mud/4wd type tyres there is more choice in the 15's.
Then there is the rolling radius......
But mostly they look way cooler.
