I've just bought myself my first T25 Caravelle and it's a great drive however I'd like to put some nice wheels on her and maybe lower her a little.. So my questions are
If I lower her by putting a 60mm lowering kit on can I put a set of 17x7.5 Mercedes rims with Rotalla F 107 tyres on without it scrubbing. I've read abit where it might scrub if I have the wheel at full lock

Re: Mercedes wheels and lowering
17's will work with -60mm springs(-50mm would be better) but only if the springs are a quality brand and not red.
But before buying them....are they genuine Mercedes and what's the offset(ET)?
Also you didn't mention what size tyres....all important information?

Thanks the wheels are PCD 5x112 offset 35-38 and the bore according to the guy selling is 170mm. The tyres are 205-40-R17

Re: Mercedes wheels and lowering
The tyres are way too small for starters.
They need to be 215 or 225/50/17.
Longer rear studs, front bolts and 5mm,possibly 10mm, spacers required as well.
As for "and the bore according to the guy selling is 170mm.".....I haven't got a clue what that measurement is for?
