Calibre Vintage 17

Post by Dubmaster77 »

Hi again!

I have read loads of threads and looked through the wiki which says you cant fit more than 7" of rim on the front but have seen plenty of wider wheels fitted up.

My van is lowered 70mm and currently running 17" merc wheels with spacers, They do rub a little on the inside on full lock which I am careful to avoid.

i would like to fit a set of these

http://www.alloywheels.com/8x17_Inch_Ca ... heels_Only" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

but they come 8" minimum with the option of staggering the rears with 9" which is appealing as i,m running 255s on the back at the moment.

They come in 5x 112 with an ofset of et 35 so that is ok so just wondering if any one has experience of fitting them or its a drive up to manchester to the nearest stockist!

i know some one will say they are not load rated..... I know they are not load rated
Thanks in advance.
Stu.

They only come in 15" or 16" though and I have asset of fairly fresh 17" tyres waiting to go on.
