I know JK are renown for using inferior metal but I have searched the net for any reports of their wheels failing and I can find none, a lot of complaints about corrosion but no structural faults, so question is, if they are load rated are they OK? and would they be allowed to sell them if they were not up to spec?
Seen some that I thought looked good but am put off by all the bad press you guys give them.

Re: JK Alloys?
yep they are the crap ones.
I saw some on a van once and the guy was livid.
It was a replacement set, as the first were corroding after a month
This new set were corroding after two weeks.
I believe the off set is wrong too

Re: JK Alloys?
If they fit straight on then that is most of the hassle gone. Get em powder coated. I get my stuff done in woolston. Pretty cheap and you would have a nice finish. If you then masked up you could paint the black in yourself. They do look nice though.

I have a set of those. Came with the van. They are 5 years old. They need a little TLC now but after 5 years that's possibly expected.
