ok done more today , got engine running off T25 ignition switch ... kids dont have to start and stop the engine now :)

cut allt more wires out , still need to get rid of original fuse box , but allot less on it now :

Image

will mount ecu under the rear seat in the end , cut a big hole ( no pics yet ) ...and fed ecu through etc

so i was able to mod the engine lid , to clear alternator :

Image

i know some people cut a complete hole ,then mount a plate on top , but maybe my engine mount has made engine be lower.... so this is all i needed ( so far )

still got some problems lol .. but another thing i have noticed is my bite point on the clutch is quite low to the floor ...

is this common ? maybe something not right with the flywheel / clutch setup i purchased ? ?
i seem to have allot of travel on pedal before i feel anything ..

comparing back boxes

Image

making mounting bracket out of stainless

Image

tacked on

Image

this is before i tried it , and found out i had tacked it on the wrong way... so it came off and on again

modded turbo outpipe , only bit still in steal , will re-do one day ....honest :)

Image

link pipe from back box to turbo flexi

Image

completed system ready to be seam welded

Image

Image

pic of it fitted :

Image

some welds could do with cleaning up .. but no time ...

Image

Image

Image

so 144 quid , plus 20 quid from brickwerks for some new rubber mounts ...

if people want details of the company who does the back boxes let me know , they are around 60 quid plus postage.
