the et for them is 52 and et 50 can be be fitted with 205/35 zr 18 n3 and 225/40 zr18 tyres

25mm PCD adaptors required and perfecly safe to use if you buy quality adaptors.

205/35/18's are too small and won't be load rated for a T25.
225/40/18's are also slightly too small and will have a load rating of 92 maximum so not ideal.
There's no 'r' in bought!

what do you suggest then just cut my losses and sell them what the ideal load rating for a set of alloys for a t25?

That's entirely upto you but if you do decide to sell them and buy something else may I suggest you look into what's required to fit those alloys before buying them....it is really the best way to do it.
Plenty of info on here and the Brick-Yard on what alloys fit and what's required to fit them safely.
