porsche boxster twist alloys

Well hello ive just joined the forum as i really really need some advice please! ive got a E reg hightop and ive bought a set of boxster twist alloys hoping too fit them on the van but i dont want to fit pcd adaptors? i was hoping that like previously with my beetle, i could buy some 5 /130 stud pattern discs for the front and drums for the rear much like what i did with my beetle ? any help would be fab guys as i would like too fit them asap.

hi im fairly new to t25 as mostly been Aircooled t2 and beetle ive bought some twist porsche alloysfor my e reg hightop and wanna fit them can i buy 5/130 stud pattern discs and drums like with beetles and t2s? as really dont wanna fit pcd adaptors if i have too

really is there no where i can buy the discs and drums from? what sort of work are we looking at?

Surely you can buy adapters, there are some on ebay

doesnt adapters effect vibration and wear of bearings of the wheel bearings ?

Shouldnt really be replying in this section. What is the off set and tyre size of your wheels? The adapters are usually needed to get the ET down do 20-30 mm so you can get the clearances in the arches/sliding door.

the off set is 5/112 and the size of the tyres 225 40 zr and 265 35 zr are 18" Porsche twists alloy wheels
Rear wheels are 9j and fronts are 7.5j

The pcd is 5/112. The off set is stamped by the valve if they are original. ET 50 or something. The front maybe different from the rear.
Carry this on in your post in the wheels section. :ok

You need the offset or put them in place and have a measure up. Back of the front of the wheel to centre line is the offset. Welcome to the world of T3's. Not like bays or beetles as they have a more modern double wishbone system so 'slammin' is out of the question as well without massive modification as I know that question is next. Some where on the wheels it should say ET something hopefully. :D

you can buy rear drums in 5 x130pcd but the only way they will bolt straight on the front is to do a porsche brake conversion

the et is next to the valve if genuine or if copies it on the rear of one of the spokes

faggie your a legend where could i purchase a set of said drums gonna take a look tomorrow on the spokes for the et been out of action for a few days after a back operation but want everything ready for when im able to fit the beasts.
ill send a follow up with the ets cheers dude for guidance :lol:
