Pete,

Ive managed to find sa supply of those 7J merc rims, only down side is that they are in Southampton and most of them have got tyres on.

Ive got the guy looking for one for me without a tyre, when i speak to him i'll ask if they can look for another if you like?

PS, who's that whos nicked my yellow wheels??? :P

Thanks AL, Might be possible to sort some sort of pony express or interparcel do couriering at a reasonable rate, had a golf gearbox shipped for £10 a little while ago.

The yellow wheels are Dave's from Ireland, fitted with the latest BFG tyres.

OK, i'll see if i can get two of em then.

Sounds like they've got loads of them (with tyres on anyway) just in case you need anymore.

Think he mentioned £50 with a tyre, £30 without. Hence im hanging on til they find one without. Seems a little steep to me, but hey, beggars and choosers.....

Just want to say that I had a thoroughly enjoyable weekend in the Peak District - Dark and White - and to thank every one for their company.
Although replacement engine didn't miss a beat that's more than I can I say for the oil seals between gearbox and bell housing.
After the ups and downs of the Peak District I had a more horizontal environment when, on Monday, I added a few more sections of the Peddars Way to my tally.

A couple of scenic pics...
