Recommendations for new cushions

Post by Reggie1986 »

Hi there,

We want to replace the rock and roll and pop top cushions and upholstery in our van. Does anyone have any recommendations? Would prefer comfy and well made to cheap, although cost is obviously a consideration. We're in West London near Heathrow, if anyone happens to have any nearby recommendations, although we've measured accurately, so mail order should also be fine.

Many thanks in advance...

Jack / Reggie

do you mean the foam for the bed?

if so, i got mine from https://www.gbfoamdirect.co.uk/foam-cut ... -cushions/  (they have templates for either 3/4 or full width beds)
and then had it covered using a shop in Rayners lane (not too far from you)
it wasn't cheap though. if i could do it again i'd go down the second hand route and save a good few hundred ££

Thanks so much @shinnster. It's both the foam and the covers we're after. Both are pretty knackered. I'll check out GB Foam. Has the foam lasted, and is it comfortable?

Also, good suggestion about second hand. I'd assumed the dimensions would be unique to each conversion, but maybe I can find something close enough.

ive only had my bed 2 years but so far soo good, the foam seems pretty good!
i got it covered in a leather / pleather type material though so it hopefully lasts longer.#

they may be unique to each conversion, all my knowledge goes up to is either 3/4 or full width bed.
