Propex 1600 not working

Post by Welshclimber »

This Propex heater will be the death of me!
I’ve searched the forum and I’m not getting the same problem that others have so finding it tricky to fault find.

Thermostat is showing green and red light.
Have checked the gas regulator is working.
Getting plenty of voltage at the thermostat.
Ignition on the heater is continuously clicking so that works too.
Have hoovered out the in and out pipes.
It tries to light but then nothing, just switches off.
No fault codes from the lights either

Anyone got any further ideas??
It has previously worked! 🤯

Seized fan. Have you tried cold air setting?
And yes, excellent customer service from Propex.

Will give them a ring, thanks. Don’t think it’s the fan as the cold air is working fine.
