I am liking the valve, will be interested to see where you mount it and how you plumb it in

Planning to mount the valve in place of the original valve at the front and use the original cable to operate it,

I got my heater bypass valve today as it happens, Image

I’ve got a few busy weekend coming up so no real time to get the van on the lift to get the valve fitted, I also have an annoying gearbox oil leak to sort that also required the ramp,

But I will get into it before long,
I have also taken delivery of a set of these, Image
2wd steering rack crossmember reinforcing brackets,

I have got some work done to the in house victron setup tho….
Got the complete board in and mounted, wired, and almost fully functional, I forgot to order some 2.5mm 3 core for the inverter/charger (this arrived today) so will get this finished at the weekend,
I also need to cut a hole out in the side of the wall, to mount the screen…..

Ok so got some more work done on the victron install this weekend. Got the packs taped in two pairs, drilled and installed some cable glands through the bottom of the boxes for the cables to go through, bms is being mounted under the passenger seat, the thick red cable is the link lead between the two packs. I’ve ordered buckles and straps to be able to secure the battery’s to the seat boxes, installed 20mm insulation on all external surfaces to keep the cold away from the packs,

I need to extend the bms balance lead connections to the right hand pack, along with the temp sensor,
So I have brought the wiring into the house to extend it and can then reinstall tomorrow,

This is what plan to use to secure the battery’s down, with a buckle fitted where the red lines are in the last pic

You may as well be talking in some strange alien tongue -

I love these 'outside the box' installations, I have done a few myself in my time, but this is all rocket science to me. -

Very very impressive, but way beyond the capacity of my aging old grey cells.

Following with great interest. It is just taking me a bit longer than it used to.

So spent a few days getting the victron setup just about finished,
Here’s a few pics

Pic 1
Jbd 300amp bms mounted to a steel plate to make mounting under passenger seat much easier….

Pic 2
Complete wardrobe setup finished, cables routed correctly and cable tied up,

Pic 3 and 4
After measuring up 4 times and making 2 templates, I bit the bullet and cut the wall for the Raspberri pi with my multi tool, after modifying the screen case to accept two m6 bolts to bolt the case to the outer wall,

Pic 5
Battery Bluetooth monitor, I can access this to view voltage’s in each individual cell pack, change bms settings, check cell pack temps…..

Pic 6
As I have a smart fridge in my kitchen, I logged into my victory vrm portal online, once I have extended my WiFi range (doesn’t quite reach the van) I will be able to see the status of everything in the van from my kitchen ImageImage
Nerdy-yes, also very cool ImageImageImageImage

Loving all these updates Jamie, i've got similar lipos/BMS in the garage awaiting some attention (once the brakes are sorted).

How do you feel about those T3 steering rack braces?
