Syncropendence 2023
Hi everyone,
This years Syncropendence has been booked for 14th to the 16th of July.
As always it’s in Llanfyllin, our beautiful adopted country residence.
This is advance notice, you cannot book at the moment, although you might let us know interest here as well as any questions from first timers.
We haven’t been able to entirely avoid clashing with other events, although we’ve done our best. We’re aware other events also clash with each other, it’s a busy time and taken advice this time to avoid a bank holiday though it is in fact, six of one and half a dozen if the other.
You don’t necessarily have to own or bring a Syncro to come, but you’d need an interest in wild camping and there is no guarantee of being ferried around, though we try to do our best. At worst, it’s a healthy walk up the hill with lovely views from many areas. The campsite is a nice place to chill being secluded enough and divided by a shallow river
Enjoy the coming Spring weather ()… I notice a few have already been out creating hours of workshop repairs for themselves, haha

Re: Syncropendence 2023
Whilst I would LOVE to go, I have been instructed that as this is nearly within a month of our wedding we have other priorities....apparently :p Will be at VW Breakout, though. I have been let loose for next year though, so see you then!

Re: Syncropendence 2023
All I know about it is some pics from 2022 and it looks like a good plod around some nice roads in the vans and a bit of a camp about in a field? Sign me up! I had planned to put the new engine in the Doka in June, but if all goes wrong I'll come along in a t6 4 motion and you can at least take some amusing photos pulling me out of trouble.

Its all offroad. No actual roads other than the farm track to access the hill.

Re: Syncropendence 2023
It's a solid maybe from us
We have a trip to Spain in May, Eire Syncro in June and SP in July.
It all hinges on the first big family adventure abroad. If all goes smoothly and everyone has a good time, we will do everything. The other side of the coin is that the family have a mare and don't want to see the van for the rest of the summer.
In that case I might be able to get over myself, work and funds depending.
For anyone who hasn't been, it is absolutely brilliant. The guidance and wisdom shared with first timers is priceless. The venue, driving and company is also top notch.
Really hope we can make it back

Golly Rich. It scary how time passes. But I suppose Maddy sitting her gcse should remind me that all the kids are growing up.
Just remind him that I still have a cold can of woop a*** in the fridge.
Hope your all well.

Hi to all
Jo and I really enjoyed the event last year and were hoping to come, but we’re meeting family in Cornwall.
Have a great event.
Regards from Nick
