Re: Rear hatch and sliding door seals
The rear engine hatch is glued in place, and the sliding door pushes on to the metal around the edge of the door and shouldn't need any glueing, well mine didn't only the engine hatch required glue

Yep done tailgate seal aswell, that pops on and I used a rubber mallet to put it around the tailgate metal it holds well when it banged on.

Re: Rear hatch and sliding door seals
I got mine from Just Kampers, but VW Heritage sells them aswell. The glue I bought from my local Homebase and was heat resistant glue.

The JK hatch ones used to be too hard, I don't know if they have changed their supplier though.

Re: Rear hatch and sliding door seals
Mine isn’t hard, it is spongy to the feel, one thing it does do though and it tries to twist on the bends of the hatch when glueing in place so get the fast curing glue so your not holding in place whilst it dries out.
