Temperature dependant sliding door closing!

Post by T25Convert »

Right, I'm confused (again!).

Sliding for works spot on, as long as it's warmer than about 5 degrees out. If it's colder than this, it doesn't catch, so as you shut it, it just pops open again.

Everything still seems to work as it should at the lower temperatures, (the catch end locks over fine by hand) so I'm confused (and cold!)

Any thoughts?

Lube up all the mechanism, the grease is causing it to stick at lower temps I expect
