Hi all
I have hella style lights but, upon opening there are no reflectors. Nada, none, nought, just black plastic which is great for absorbing light rather than reflect it out the lenses. Is this normal, am I normal or perhaps I’m expecting too much...any thoughts?

Rear lights are very poorly designed. The ULO ones only fare marginally better. I fitted LED panels to mine which almost completely fill each partition within the lenses and the lights are excellent now. More of a mod than plug and play but no regrets doing it as I can easily be seen at night now.

Replaced mine with these. They are a vast improvement.

For a cheapo mod could you cover the black plastic with kitchen foil? Did that with my now off-white dash bulb holders , and have much better illumination of my dials.
Just an idea...

Defo agree with
LED bulbs, sorry to Jed but I used his spec to find the bulbs on geek. In particular using red leds for red lights , amber for indicators etc rather than white except reverse

Got anymore info on this mod please? If you don't mind others stealing your ideas of course.
