Re: fridge flue tubing
Use Webasto stainless exhaust, aluminium is carp - it oxidizes, gets brittle and disintegrates.
( are you sure that it is 30mm diameter, they are usually around 22/24mm )

Its definitely 30 mm inside diameter the wall thickness must only be around 1mm. Need around 60cm

Re: fridge flue tubing
What make and model of fridge is it - that is a huge pipe! Also that length is far longer than normal, they are usually around 10-15cm in length.

Re: fridge flue tubing
will have a look tomorrow at make and model. the fridge is behind the driver seat but the vent in the van is around the middle of the kitchen window, hence why its so long. Its been like that for 10years and the fridge has been working fine on gas, use it loads. The current pipe has just started to break down so needs replacing.

Re: fridge flue tubing
I wouldn't have a pipe like that, the manufacturers of Dometic/Electrolux are quite clear that the flue must not be extended that is why I asked as to the manufacturer as the requirements may be different. Your pipe may well be breaking down due to condensation because the length is permitting too much cooling.
