Step on the side door
Oooh, we must be getting a bit older. Has anyone put a step under the sliding door to help you in? I don't want anything fancy.
Are we going on anything else?

Re: Step on the side door
there is a stock step that slides out when the sliding door is opened.. IIRC it was an option on some 'velle's etc..
otherwise look for some freelander 1 side steps and employ a fabricator/welder

Re: Step on the side door
I've got a freelander one on mine.
Fits nicely.
It needed a bit of adapting/brackets made, but I'm very pleased with it.
We also have a Fiamma caravan step that we can move around.

Re: Step on the side door
Google ‘omnistep’ they start around £100 going up as you get bigger and go electric/automatic. It should bolt to the floor and flip out beyond the sill

I’ve fitted my omnistep now, I don’t think it qualifies as fancy but it wasn’t simple. Check it out in Restorations and Major Repair - procrastination neve rgot you anywhere
