Glovebox broken hinge
I have broken hooks on my glovebox compartment, so when you open the glovebox is falls down and unloads its contents on passenger floorwell, is there standard in situ repair? I don't want to replace it, as I have custom cutaway my glovebox rear, to allow install of my auxiliary busbar fusebox.

I have a loop of string that holds the glove box back.

Could it be because its not a hinge?

Nice solution Paul.
Can you make a drawing of it and give us the dimensions?

I just drew around the other not broken tab on to paper
cut it out and stuck it on a bit of sheet aluminium with pritt stick
cut it out and bolted it on.
I suppose I could take it off and draw it
