I found out that the rubber fuel filling neck/elbow on Mags had perished to virtually nothing - sadly this was when filling her up and petrol starting leaking all over the garage forecourt !
I happily bought a replacement but I can't get the screw undone on the jubilee clip...
Short of cutting away the clip with a multitool, and risk sending sparks into the fuel tank, blowing myself, my house and my neighbours' houses sky high as the fuel hose is now open to the elements, I don't know what to do!!
Does anyone have any suggestions of how to budge the *%$@( thing so I can close the tank off before the whole lot evaporates over another "hottest bank holiday on record"!!?!?!

Thanks itchy
I'd thought about stuffing something down the pipe, damp rag will be perfect
Can't get the hacksaw in and I don't have a dremel. Trip to Screwfix tomorrow if the multitool doesn't work!

What are you using to try to undo it - if screwdriver, don't bother. Use a socket, usually 7mm. Screwdriver is just for taking up the slack when fitting. If it is just a steel clip it may just break apart if it is particularly rusty.
