Rear bed recommendation

Post by JackE »

I have an Auto Sleeper VHT and would like to replace the rear seat for two reasons. One it is not that easy to use and two it doesn't see very strong for anyone sitting on it.

I have fitted a brickwerks seat belt to the passenger side and plan to mount an isofix bracket from a ford focus to the drivers side.

I think I am going to fit a rusty lee's bed http://www.vwrustylee.com/ that would be custom made to fit with the autosleeper interior.

An other options might be a http://www.vanwurks.co.uk/beds-and-seating bed although I am not sure if a custom fit is available?

I was just wondering if anyone has any advice or any other recommendations or tips.

Many thanks

I have the Vanwurks bed and overall it is pretty good. I ended up welding the legs to the body work as it wasn’t very easy to access from the underside; and it’s safer that way. Don’t think custom fit is available but worth contacting them. I’ve heard Rusty Lee beds are very good.
