Gas hook up help

Post by sarahandthebear »

Hello all we have a 1984 westie and at the me net it is not hooked up with gas. We have the cooker and a gas bottle. We have been trying to find any information online about correct installation but have not been able to find any. Also because it's gas and obviously we don't want to put ourselves in danger is it best to get it done by a professional thanks everyone :ok

Is the cooker the original or is it a replacement or portable camping type and does the gas bottle have the regulator/on-off valve?

It is not difficult to connect as such but you need to establish what you already have in terms of fittings, etc.

If you are doing a completely new install and not sure of how to proceed then some help or assistance would be advisable.

If it's a Westy then surely you have the external cylinder?
