Well done Jenny with getting all that counted so quickly!

I had a few people remark that they'd like to know how much was raised... maybe CJ would be willing to put a note on their website?

A pair of panoramic shots from the marshall's "lookout" in the middle of the quarry at Weston Park, showing the syncro ride course. It ran anti-clockwise.
Entry point about 1/3 from the left (over the back), climbing up then down and close to the quarry wall in the first pic with a crossover loop in the middle around the lookout so really a 720 degree loop or thereabouts) with a slither up & over before a dry-ish exit climb and a tight exit.
Good fun to drive but I only got one go!ImageImage

Just found my petrol receipt for 22 litres on Sunday after I left, from the same garage on the A5 where I filled it on Friday before I started - now bear in mind that my tank never takes the same amount of petrol twice - but approx 25 miles round the quarry over the two days = 5.2mpg. That's a new record for me, and I've owned a v8 landrover!

Worth every penny :D

Here's my "I need a GoPro but have a cheap Chinese dash cam" lap of the Quarry, with my No#1 fan, who had a total of 5 laps in the front of my van with various members of his family in the back. I think we should get him a t-shirt for next year.

On the grounds of gender equality I am requesting a pink "Ladies who gin & syn" teeshirt (XL)

BB took me in hand for a quick spicy one before dinner on Saturday evening and I am now a changed man

Fantastic weekend - as always.

It was lovely to see everybody getting into the action and enjoying themselves. There were quite a few squeals from passengers and smiles.
My brother comes every year and always goes for a ride with his kids.

Lovely donation from Camperjam in Pete's memory, he always enjoyed the event and it became somewhat of an annual pilgrimage alongside SP.

I have a selection of photos and video, I shall put them together later as I am still only at #3 on the list and I still need to wire in a horn for Andrew's MOT tomoz although I have fixed the computer which was unforeseen.

PS: Clive, the tank simply need a quick prime, would've been an easy fix in situ (shame I over thought it in the field).
It's all the little moments in life that make it a big adventure.

Well done everyone. I was gutted I couldn't pop over for the day. Hopefully my circumstances will change next year and Basil Fawlty decides the hotel is no more and I can pursue full time cooking from my syncro :D

Excellent weekend again and lots of happy and very impressed VW owners who paid for a drive round and supported a well worthwhile charity. Hopefully lots of money going their way.

A big thank you to Simon for having the pleasure/frustration/enjoyment for organizing this event again. I think everybody evolved can see how much hard work Simon puts into this. :ok

Although I did not do as much driving as usual still had a very screamers. plus a puncture :(

Brilliant weekend with brilliant friends.
Thanks

Hannah took her marshalling duties very seriously, winchweight got both hands and a very hard stare when he failed to stop as quickly as Hannah wanted......
